Hera is a real botequim — the Brazilian corner bar: tables out on the sidewalk, draft beer poured cold all day and Brazilian food in portions made to share.
The people at these tables are Copacabana locals at Tuesday lunch, hotel guests from the beachfront at breakfast, and a big table of friends on Saturday night. The house serves all three the same way.
Almost every dish comes in half and full — the portions are generous: a half serves two to three people, a full serves four to five. That is how a botequim works: plates go to the middle of the table and everyone helps themselves.
